Programs within MENTOR North Carolina’s program network receive priority for mentor referrals and receive regular communication from MENTOR North Carolina on the latest mentoring research and resources.
The Mentoring Connector is a free service and the only database of its kind designed to help quality youth mentoring programs across the United States recruit volunteer mentors. By creating a profile on Mentoring Connector, mentoring programs can receive inquiries from volunteers who are interested in becoming a mentor. Our national partners at the NBA, the My Brother’s Keeper Alliance, and others use this database on their websites to recruit volunteer mentors.
When a mentoring program is listed in the Mentoring Connector, it also means that parents, counselors, and other adults who are seeking a mentoring program for a particular youth will be able to find your mentoring program. This is especially beneficial if your mentoring program must recruit mentees in addition to mentors.
MENTOR North Carolina utilizes the Mentoring Connector as our database of active quality mentoring programs across the state. When someone contacts us seeking a mentoring program to volunteer with or enroll their child in, MENTOR North Carolina utilizes the Mentoring Connector to provide referrals. To join our list of active mentoring programs in North Carolina, please create a profile today.
